“It’s interesting because I have played characters who are completely the opposite of me and I have played characters that like could be my cousin – Claire in Jurassic World could be my cousin. Hilly Holbrook from The Help – I like to think I am nothing like her! My family is from the Deep South and Oklahoma, so I had seen these characters and relationship and knew that kind of a couple. It was really wonderful for me to play someone who had a mindset that was very different from mine and to just understand what it was – like the bond that was between them.”
