May 4, 2019 — Bryce Dallas Howard Says Directing Star Wars TV Series ‘Mandalorian’ Was ‘Incredible’
“Yeah, it’s been amazing,” she told IBT at an event for Tide Purclean in early April. “Done directing, almost done editing. It’s awesome. It’s been incredible. And working under [executive producers] Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni has been such, just, I don’t know. It’s like going to Star Wars grad school. It’s so fun. Everyone is having such a good time all the time ‘cause you’re on a Star Wars set.”
“I’m directing full-time. So I’m directing right now a feature documentary, and then ‘Mandalorian’ and then there’s another feature for Netflix that I think is gonna happen in a few months, actually. And so yeah, I’ll then go and do ‘Jurassic’ and then hopefully more directing. I mean, I definitely always want to act, but for a little while it might be more kind of sort of between directing projects, I think.”

April 26, 2019 — How Actress & Mom Bryce Dallas Howard Keeps It Eco-Friendly At Home
When it comes to teaching her kids about the importance of things like turning off the lights when a room isn’t in use, bringing reusable bags on family grocery runs, or limiting shower time, Howard says it’s a matter of leading by example and stressing the importance of every natural resource: “I tell them the same way you would handle something like a diamond is how we need to be having a relationship with nature, water, and food. Protecting these things is the most important thing in the world.”

April 9, 2019 — Bryce Dallas Howard says that her ‘Rocketman’ transformation into Elton John’s mom was inspired by her own mother’s appearance
“I was working on the movie and the makeup artist came over one day to do tests on me with the prosthetics and we needed to age me until 70,” Howard told us. “We were doing it and we felt that it didn’t quite look right and my mom walked in. This was at the hotel we were staying at, and she came and stood next to me and we were like, ‘Wait a second, we need to make [Bryce] look like her [Cheryl]!'”
“She’s 65 and she hasn’t messed with her face at all or anything, so it’s what I’m going to look like when I’m 65,” Bryce continued. “So that was something that was really fun. We were putting on a lot more freckles than we thought I needed at first and it made the right difference.”
