We have some news on Bryce’s Rocketman today!
It has been confirmed that Rocketman will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 16, 2019. There is also a excellent chance that Bryce will be there on the carpet.
Elton John’s biopic Rocketman to premiere at Cannes Film Festival
“We are incredibly honoured and excited to premiere our movie ‘Rocketman’ at the Cannes film festival on May 16. This has been a labour of love for all of us and we couldn’t dream of a better launching pad for this very special film” said Rocket Pictures and Marv Films in a statement.
The film’s cast includes Jamie Bell, Richard Madden, Bryce Dallas Howard and Gemma Jones. It is set to be released in the UK on May 24 and in the US on May 31 by Paramount Pictures.
The 2019 Cannes Film Festival will run from May 14 to May 25.

A new mini behind the scenes featurette was released which features Bryce and other cast members and even Elton John himself discuss a little bit of his backstory. We get a few quick clips where we get to see new footage of Bryce in character.
She plays Elton’s mother, Sheila, in the film. The movie is set to hit theaters in the US on May 31st.

Lastly, Disney announced an official press release for it’s new streaming device, Disney+, which means we got some news on The Mandalorian. At one of the special press events, they shared some behind the scenes footage and Bryce was quickly featured in that. Earlier this year, Bryce directed one episode in the series. The Mandalorian is expected to premiere in November 2019.
