News, Updates, and Events!

Hey all! Updates have been a little sporadic since there are so many little things popping up here and there. We finally have enough to warrant a full update post! So have a seat, get comfortable, and catch up on everything that’s been going on in the world of Bryce Dallas Howard!

Teen Choice Awards! Bryce has been CONFIRMED to be in attendance at the 2018 Teen Choice Awards.

Among those set to grace The Forum in L.A. are Zac Efron, Louis Tomlinson and Anna Kendrick, as well as Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. Also set to appear is the cast of Riverdale, including Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart, Vanessa Morgan and Madelaine Petsch, ET has exclusively learned.

Back in June she was nominated for “Choice Summer Movie Actress”, Chris Pratt for “Choice Summer Movie Actor”, and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom for “Choice Summer Movie”. Bryce is currently filming her new project Rocketman in England, but she is making the trip to the states for this award show. Hints for a possible win? We sure hope so!

The Teen Choice Awards air THIS Sunday August 12, 2018 at 8pm EST on FOX.

Bryce Dallas Howard has another event lined up for the fall. Bryce will join her friend, Marianna Palka, and a committee of fellow actors to support the 4th annual FREEZE-HD event sponsored by the Huntington Disease Society of America (HDSA). Bryce has always been an advocate for this cause and has attended this event in the past.

The 4th annual FREEZE-HD event takes place September 22, 2018 in Los Angeles.

We have a little more information regarding Bryce’s newest project, Rocketman. As previously mention, Rocketman will be a biopic (of sorts) telling the story of Elton John through his music. Bryce will be playing Elton’s mom, Sheila. What we didn’t know was the new “fantasy music” aspect. According to various articles, including the fantastically written one previewed below from filmschoolrejects, Rocketman will be the first movie musical to be rated R. There’s a lot to take away from that statement alone! Will Bryce be singing? Will she have a major role Fingers crossed for both! Check out more from the article below.

Bryce Dallas Howard is about to make a leap into her next big cinematic venture, and this time, it’ll be of the singing, dancing, and even (somewhat) truth-based variety. Howard has joined the already stacked cast of Rocketman, the ambitiously fantastical take on Elton John‘s life that we’ve been waiting years for.

Of course, Rocketman wouldn’t be half as exciting if it didn’t also bring something new to the table for its stars. Howard has never sung onscreen before (nope, she was not the voice behind the viral hit “I Am Not Jessica Chastain”). However, her roots as a performer do stem from theater, and she has at least appeared in one stage musical, A Tale of Two Cities. She even recorded vocals for the concept soundtrack of the production. This will come in handy should Egerton’s promise of more singing cast members in Rocketman actually be a reality. We have no reason to believe anyone will be left out of busting out a tune.

Rocketman is currently filming in England and has a US release on May 17, 2019.

Last month Bryce Dallas Howard was a guest on Jeff Goldblum’s “Cooking With Jeff” web series hosted by Funny Or Die.
